I can go on Facebook, goodreads, NPR, etc. I can browse and post. I can come onto BBB and browse threads, but when I want to post it will only load the page halfway and then I have to X out of BBB, click ctrl atl and delete, in order to stop running firefox, so i can come onto BBB again. The post will go through from the last time, but I can't post and continue to be on BBB without going through this entire shit.
What does this mean? Why only BBB? this sucks.

I'm not having that problem, but ever since the site upgrade, I get to BBB, click login, login, and then it's supposed to refresh the page to show access to the board, but instead it takes me back to the default site, like I need to login. and if I click login, it will keep doing that. I can only see new posts and it shows me logged in if I click the LL logo at the top, then it's ok.

I feel like I can't even respond to this post because now I'll have to x out, close pandora, ctrl alt delet, then stop firefox process..
so if you guys see me in a thread and don't answer, it's because of that until i get it resolved. I'm trying everything I know. nothing is helping. Why just BBB?

Weird, I wonder what is causing your browser to hang Rachel. Are you using the latest version of Firefox? Any particular pages that do this for you, or does it seem to happen everywhere?
When did it start happening?

It started happening the day before yesterday the 11th. My computer got really hot from the heatwave, and so i had to cool it down. However, everything else has been working fine, and it doesn't happen on any other site, like blog, facebook, news sites, etc. I can fully post there and continue using the internet. it's only BBB.
is there anything at all that you think it might be? I'll try anything. I have also restarted my computer countless times. Scanned it for virus...I don't know what else to do short of buying a new computer.

Nope, we use some javascript here but no Java applets which would cause the Java application to load. Can you try browsing in IE or Google Chrome to see if the issue is still present?
